🎯 Iris Build · Solo
One AI tool. Installed exactly right for your business.
You've probably tried setting AI up yourself. Watched a tutorial, signed up for the tool, got 70% of the way through, then hit something you couldn't quite figure out — and the half-built version is still sitting in a tab somewhere. Solo is the tier where we just install it correctly.
Why this tier exists
The gap between "I bought the recipe" and "it's running in my business"
Iris ships seven Recipes — AI receptionist, AI lead responder, AI content engine, AI customer service, AI email concierge, AI calendar/ops, and a "stitching it all together" capstone. They're step-by-step, they include the prompt templates, they include the industry-specific scripts, and a determined small-business owner can absolutely get one running with a Recipe and a weekend.
But here's what nobody tells you about that weekend: roughly 30% of the work is not on the recipe. The 30% is the part where your existing phone system fights with the new AI's webhook. Or the part where you realize your CRM exports calls in a format the AI doesn't read. Or the part where the AI keeps mispronouncing "Delta Dental" and you can't figure out where in the prompt to fix it.
That 30% is where Solo comes in. We do it. All of it. Then we hand you the working system.
What you can pick
Choose one of the seven Recipes. We install it for your industry.
Each comes with industry-specific scripts (we have variants for dental, plumbing, law firm, real estate, roofing, restaurants, and HVAC — and we'll write a new variant if your industry isn't there yet, no extra charge).
AI Receptionist
Your business phone gets answered 24/7 by an AI that knows your hours, your services, your insurance providers, and how to book appointments into your calendar.
Tools we install
Bland AI (primary), Synthflow (alternate), Vapi (developer-leaning option)
Real outcome
A dental practice in Texas captures 14 calls/week that used to go to voicemail. Three of those become new patients on average.
AI Lead Responder
When a lead fills out your contact form or replies to a Google ad, the AI responds within 30 seconds with a qualifying question, books a call if appropriate, and hands the lead off to you ready to close.
Tools we install
Drift (most polished), Intercom Fin (best in-app), Tidio (cheapest)
Real outcome
A roofing contractor in Colorado responds to Angi leads in 22 seconds vs. the 90-minute industry average. Conversion to first appointment up 3.4×.
AI Content Engine
One voice memo from you turns into a week's worth of content — social posts, a blog post, an email newsletter draft. You approve, AI publishes on schedule.
Tools we install
Claude (writing), Beehiiv (newsletter), Buffer or Hypefury (social)
Real outcome
A solo attorney generates 3 LinkedIn posts + 1 newsletter per week from one 10-minute weekly recording.
AI Customer Service
60-80% of inbound support questions get resolved by AI without a human touching the ticket. The remaining 20-40% get escalated to you with full context.
Tools we install
Intercom Fin, Helpscout AI, Front, or Crisp depending on your existing stack
Real outcome
An e-commerce business resolves 73% of return/shipping questions automatically and reduced support hires from 2 to 0.5.
AI Email Concierge
Your inbox triages itself. AI drafts replies for routine emails, surfaces only the ones that genuinely need you, and gets you to inbox zero by 9 AM most days.
Tools we install
Superhuman AI (highest-quality), Shortwave (cheapest), Reply.io (sales-focused)
Real outcome
An agency owner went from 3 hrs/day in email to 35 min/day, with no drop in customer satisfaction.
AI Calendar + Operations
Recurring scheduling, follow-up reminders, internal task assignment — all the small operational decisions that eat 90 minutes a day get automated.
Tools we install
Reclaim, Motion, Cal.com, Zapier
Real outcome
A consultant reclaimed 7 hours/week of scheduling-and-follow-up time. Used it to run two more client meetings/week.
Stitched Operations
Each tool above is good on its own; M7 connects them so they pass data to each other. AI receptionist hands the new patient to the lead-responder, who hands them to the calendar, which auto-creates the intake form, which feeds the email concierge.
Tools we install
Zapier, Make.com, n8n, or a custom Python middleware if your stack requires it
Real outcome
A medical practice cut new-patient-to-first-visit time from 4.5 days to 18 hours, mostly by removing the human handoff bottleneck.
How a Solo Build actually unfolds
14 days, four phases, daily updates
Day 0
The Concierge call
45 minutes on the phone. You tell me about your business — how customers reach you, where things break, what you've already tried. I tell you which of the seven Recipes will give you the most leverage at your stage, and which to skip. By the end of the call I know enough to write the Stack Report.
Day 1-2
Stack Report + setup
Within 24 hours after the call, you get a 4-6 page Stack Report — the exact tools we'll install, exact monthly costs, the 30-60-90 day roadmap. If you give the green light, we move to setup: signing up for the tools in your name (your credit card, your accounts, your control), configuring the basics.
Day 3-10
The build
This is where the 30% happens — the part that would have eaten your weekends. We write your specific prompt templates, build the pronunciation dictionary for your insurance providers / industry terms / customer names, set up the integration with your existing CRM or calendar, and run 50+ test interactions to find the edge cases. You get a brief progress update by email or text every day.
Day 11-13
Soft launch + tuning
We turn the AI on for a controlled subset of real traffic — maybe just your after-hours calls, or just one type of inbound lead. You see how it actually behaves with your real customers. We tune the rough edges (this is where most of the 'AI feels off' problems get fixed).
Day 14
Handoff
Full traffic on. We hand you the documentation, the credentials, the operating playbook. You can change anything you want. You can fire us. The system is yours. If you want, we can stay on a monthly retainer for tuning + tool updates — but you're never obligated.

Money-back during install
If we can't get the system working in 14 days, you get the full setup fee back. We've never refunded one, but it's there.
And what's NOT
The honest stuff Solo doesn't include
We try to be useful by being clear about what we don't do. If any of these are dealbreakers, Solo isn't the right fit — and that's fine.
- ·More than one Recipe — that's the Operator tier. If you need two or three or all seven, Solo isn't structured for that.
- ·Custom integrations beyond three. Each additional integration adds about $200-$500 depending on complexity. If you have a homegrown CRM and 5 different SaaS tools that all need to talk, we'll quote that as a custom integration line item.
- ·The monthly cost of the AI tools themselves. The receptionist runs about $59/mo on Bland AI. The lead responder might run $200/mo on Intercom. That's yours to pay directly — we don't mark it up, we don't take a cut.
- ·Ongoing maintenance after the 30-day support window, unless you take the optional retainer.
- ·Industries we don't have expertise in. We've built for dental, plumbing, law, real estate, restaurant, roofing, HVAC, e-commerce, and SaaS. If your industry is more specialized (regulated finance, medical device, etc.) we'll either scope it as Enterprise or politely decline.
Who Solo is the right tier for
Established small businesses with one clear pain point. If you can finish the sentence "the thing eating my time most is _____" — and the answer is something AI can plausibly fix — Solo is built for you.
Revenue range: typically $100K to $1M annual. Below that, the Pilot tier is usually a better starting point (cheaper, lower risk). Above that, Operator usually has better economics because you have multiple pain points worth solving at once.
Owners who've already tried the DIY path and either (a) got stuck somewhere, (b) realized they don't want to spend their weekends on it, or (c) ran the math and decided that paying once for it to be done right is cheaper than paying themselves $50/hr to learn the tools.
The numbers
What Solo costs
Setup fee
$1,797
One-time. Includes everything in the "What you get" list above.
Optional monthly support
$197/mo
Optional retainer for tool updates + tuning. Cancel anytime. Or skip it and DIY using our Recipes.
For context: An Iris Solo build costs less than 3 weeks of a part-time receptionist's wages ($1,500-$2,800/mo). It works 24/7, never quits, never calls in sick. And the cost of replacing a single receptionist who leaves is $19,000+ in lost productivity and recruiting time (SHRM 2025 data). Solo pays for itself in the first month it stops you from making one bad hire.
$497 Concierge fee credits 100% toward your Solo install if you proceed within 30 days.
